A central belief of my teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn physics, even those who do not seek out the formal settings of a college classroom. As part of my philosophy that knowledge and science should be shared with all, make an active effort to engage the public. I co-run the physics department’s astronomy outreach program, which provides telescopes for viewing events at local schools and parks. Additionally, I give talks to the community when able. I specialize in making high-level content accessible and interesting for the general public.
